Traffic restrictions and road closures for the Bray Air Display on July 27 & 28

The Bray Air Display will take place on Saturday, 27th July and Sunday, 28th July 2019 and An Garda Sochána, Wicklow County Council and event organisers have prepared a robust traffic management plan to minimise disruption for local residents and help people travel in and out of Bray as easily as possible.

Road Closures and Event information

Please note that the Seafront Funfair will run from Saturday, July 20th until Bank Holiday Monday, August 5th, 2019 (12 noon to 10 pm daily) but will be closed on Monday, July 29th & Tuesday, July 30th, 2019.

There will be no parking permitted or no vehicle access to the event site at Strand Road throughout the weekend.

The road closures are in place to facilitate residents, safe pedestrian flow, public transport and emergency access for the Bray Air Display. On roads with traffic restrictions, local access will be facilitated where possible.

Local Residents Access to Road Closures

Every effort will be made to discourage illegal parking in a residential estate and side streets. Barriers, signage, street cones and event dedicated towing service will be in operation. In order to help us with these efforts ONE of the following will be accepted for local access:

  1. Driving Licence with householder’s address displayed
  2. Driving Licence and utility bill with householder’s address displayed
  3. 2019 Vehicle Access Pass

Local Residents Vehicle Access Pass can be picked up from the Bray Municipal District Office (off Main Street) from Wednesday, July 17th 2019 daily excluding weekends from 10:00 am to 16:00 pm. Please bring proof of identity, proof of residency (utility bill), and car registration details. Previous years Vehicle Access Pass will not be valid.
