The BIFE Arts Festival returns to the Mermaid Arts Centre from March 20th – 28th, and promises to be an exciting showcase for new talent in Wicklow.

With a terrific line up of theatre, music and dance there is an event for every culture lover to enjoy.

Arabian Night – Written by Roland Schimmelfpfennig. Translation by David Tushingham

A bold take on the powerful and surreal Arabian Night comes to the Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray. Joined by the Music Performance and Production departments, BIFE’s Black Box Theatre Company will conjure their unique take on this journey of self-discovery, betrayal and love in an immersive sonic experience. Wearing blindfolds, the audience is invited into this auditory mirage where the leaky pipes of the high-rise apartment become the soundtrack

BIFE Music Goes Live!!

Following on from the success of last year’s fantastic live show at Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray Institute of Further Education’s Music Performance students will again take to the stage in

March to showcase their individual and collective talents in BIFE Music Goes Live!! Students of BIFE’s Music Performance course will perform an eclectic mix of classics, lost gems and their own stunning original material. Come and support your rising stars of tomorrow!

BIFE DANCE present ‘Kinesphere’

Bray Institute of Further Education Dance students presents ‘Kinesphere’, a sensational and invigorating performance of dance and movement. This performance will feature classical ballet, explosive jazz, and diverse contemporary dance. Well-known repertoire and debut performances of original choreography, by both students and tutors, will also be featured. This is an excellent opportunity to see quality work and the talent of young dancers at BIFE.
