reaches 1 million visitor milestone, the official tourism & community profile for Bray Town, reaches its 1 million visitor milestone this month.

The site and its digital network were launched back in 2011. They were part of the Bray Town’s Economy Think Tank outputs. BETT (Bray Economic Think Tank) was an economic forum established in 2009 and its aim was to create a sense of local pride, community spirit and to promote Bray as an ideal place to live, work and do business.

The website has helped boost Bray’s image, showcase our tourism offer, culture and the incredible experiences that you can’t get anywhere else – alongside highlighting the many places to shop, eat, drink and relax in.

Cllr. Pat Vance, Cathaoirleach of Bray Municipal District said ‘We are delighted that has reached its 1 million visitor milestone. It is a true testament to our team’s dedication and shows that our online community engagement strategy through is effective.’

Since launching the website it has had over 1 million visits and 2.74 million page views. In 2018 its social media reach was +3.4 million, with a weekly reach of +65k and a 14% increase year on year in website traffic.

So far in 2019,’s total social engagement reach was 1.5m for Qtr. 1. Total visits from January to April 2019 stand at +76k which is a 32% improvement year on year in website traffic.

Since relaunching the site in 2015 there have been 1.7k events submitted to the ‘What’s On’ Guide.

In the past 12 months’s Facebook events have reached over 1.1 million users.
