The annual East Coast FM Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning is back

It’s that time of year again when the days get longer and brighter and the 9th annual East Coast FM Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning is back. Mark April 28th in your diary and come along to one of 11 main venues between 10am-midday. Most importantly, all the money raised goes straight to the 5 cancer support centres in the county and the Wicklow Hospice Foundation.

Event Co-ordinator Clare Hogan says “I’m so looking forward to co-ordinating my first event in the role. I’ve been overwhelmed so far with the kindness and generosity of the people of Wicklow and local businesses. The team have put in so much work in so far, but we couldn’t do it without the help of these people”

Funds raised from the The Wicklow Calendar 2017 designed and created by Local PR & Marketing businesswoman and East Coast fm reporter Marlena Murphy, also goes to the 2017 Wicklow Wide coffee morning fund.

On top of that the Annual East Coast FM Table Quiz takes place on Sunday the 23rd of April at 7.30pm in the Wild Goose on Bray Main Street where DJ’s, staff, famous faces and listeners put their general knowledge to the test in aid of the fund. The night will be hosted by East Coast Lunch’s Tommy Greene. All are also welcome to come along on the night to take part. You can organise a table by contacting Anne at reception at 01 2724700.

However, Clare says; “there’s a lot of really hard work still to be done. The people of Wicklow have been so generous in the past and we hope they continue to show their incredible kindness this year”

We need our listeners to take part in the 9th annual East Coast FM Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning in aid of the Cancer Support Services in County Wicklow and the Wicklow Hospice Foundation, over the last 8 years the people of Wicklow have helped us raise over €300,000 for these very important local charities and we really hope they can help again.
