Thousands attend Wings Food Fest in Bray

It certainly was wing mania in Bray this weekend as thousands of wing lovers from all over Ireland flocked to Bray for the annual Wings Food Fest which took place along Bray Seafront (Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd 2018).

Crowds enjoyed some great live music, DJ’s, a fun fair and there was even bingo; while a whopping 20+ pop up stalls served up some of the mightiest, hottest, finger lickin’ chicken wings on the east coast. Professional pit masters where on hand carrying out BBQ demos and offering some great tips.

Some brave souls took part in our famous wing eating competitions. A lot of the contestants are still recovering after we served up the hottest wings in Ireland.

6 finalists competed for the ‘Wing Off’ title and after a much heated debate our judging panel crowned Mullingar House, Chapelizod as having the best wings in Ireland for 2018.

Wendy Walsh from Wings Food Fest said “Wings Food Fest was a phenomenal success again this year. It was great to see thousands of visitors partying the weekend away here in Bray. A massive thanks to all the weekend performers, food stall holders, suppliers and crew”.
