National Heritage Week In Bray

National Heritage Week 2018 has plenty of events happening all over the country to bring your kids along to. From medieval festivals and outdoor family fun days to nature trails, treasure hunts and workshops. There is so much going on it will be easy to keep your kiddies occupied!

National Heritage Week runs from Saturday 18th – Sunday 26th August 2018 so make the most of the last of the school holidays with these family friendly events.

Here are some of the Bray highlights:

  • 18 August, 11:30am – 12pm – Talk on Aug 18th to Aug 26th 1918 in Bray by the Bray Cualann Historical Society at the Bray Public Library, Eglinton Road,
  • 18 August, 3pm – 7pm – 5th Bray Sea Scouts invites you to come and see the two historic rowing boats, the East Coast Skiffs at the Bray Sea Scouts Den – Bray Harbour
  • 20 – 24 August, 10am – 5pm – Excavation at Raheen na Chluig Bray by the Medieval Bray Project. Accessed from the Car Park on Bray Head. Co. Wicklow
  •  21 – 25 August, 11am – 4pm – Irish Megalithic Art by Erika Tyner BOOKING REQUIRED
  • 23 August, 11:30am – 12pm – Talk on Aug 18th to Aug 26th 1943 in Bray by the Bray Cualann Historical Society at the Bray Public Library, Eglinton Road,
  • 23 August, 7pm – 8pm – Update on Raheen na Chluig Dig by the Medieval Bray Project. Accessed from the Car Park on Bray Head. Co. Wicklow
  • 25 August, 2pm – 5pm Irish Whale and Dolphin Watch at the Car Park on Bray Head. Co. Wicklow
