Notice: Wicklow County Council proposes to carry out minor realignment of the County Brook

In accordance with provisions of PART XI of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) and Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended), notice is hereby given that Wicklow County Council proposes to:

Carry out minor realignment of the County Brook in the townlands of Killarney and Bray Commons and construct a new overflow arrangement at the Dargle Road, in the townland of Bray Commons, in the Municipal District of Bray. 

The purpose of the proposal is to reduce the occurrence of flooding of properties adjoining the County Brook and the Dargle Road.

Plans and particulars of the proposals are available for inspection or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy from Friday the 30th December 2016 up to and including Wednesday the 15th of February 2017:

  • Bray Municipal Offices, Civic Offices, Main Street, Bray Co. Wicklow between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
  • Wicklow County Council, County Buildings, Whitegates, Wicklow Town between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, and dealing with the proper planning and development of the area, may be made in writing on or before Wednesday 1st March 2017 as follows:
