Killruddery Film Festival

Killruddery hosts a popular annual silent  film festival which takes place every`March. International films are screened and the irish contribution is given recognition.  The 2011 Festival opened with a rarely screened documentary entitled ‘The Kalem’s in Ireland”. A lecture from Kevin Brownlow noted Ireland’s rich film heritage, the Irish connection in Hollywood, and the important work done by Irish film professionals over the years.
