This year Gospel Rising Music Festival is on the move to Bray.
Gospel Rising is now in its third year. After already enjoying Ennis and Portlaoise where it was a huge success, now Bray will push to make Gospel Rising even bigger and better in 2012.
The festival is being organised and ran by a team of volunteers belonging to several different choirs from all over Ireland. They create a social, educational and fun event which brings together lovers of gospel music from all over the country to learn from each other and form networks and friendships.
The festival is built around a series of workshops encompassing gospel music styles, repertoire, choreography, soloist technique, full day band workshops and technical aspects of choirs such as recording music and getting it out there. The event will culminate in a gig which showcases Ireland’s many gospel music styles.
So we are calling on all gospel music enthusiasts to join us this year in Bray, to celebrate the continued rising of gospel music in Ireland.
Whether you are in one of Ireland’s growing number of gospel choirs or are an individual who wants to be part of this amazing opportunity to sing and experience this genre of gospel music

Bray Gospel Choir are organising a walk on Sat 4th February 2012 @ 11am. The walk is taking place inconnection with operation transformation, the walk will begin from the Bandstand Bray promenade, all welcome.
