Culture night takes place each September across Ireland, welcoming people of all ages to a taste of free culture for one night. Nowhere, is the event more celebrated than in Bray with a diverse range of innovative cultural activities. In 2010 for example a “Fleet of Dreams” ceremony took place. This entailed hundreds of lanterns being placed in the River Dargle to float down the river at night creating a magnificent illumination of the river and was a visually enthralling event.
