With a large Chinese population in Bray, celebrations take place on an annual basis to commemorate the Chinese New Year. The events are supported by Bray Town Council, Bray Tourism, Bray Chamber of Commerce and the Southside Chinese residents association. The Chinese Irish Cultural academy has provided an assortment of offerings including Folk dance and Chinese dragon dance.
